Chris Leslie
Leslie has been a Labour MP for both Shipley until 2005 and Nottingham East from 2010. In the interim period he was director of thinktank National Local Government Network. Leslie personally published specialist reports that transcended right/left-wing divides, focusing on issues such as the growth of informal loan sharks in the wake of the 2008 crash and reduction of subprime lending, and has consistently emphasised the importance of regional devolution in his own articles for the thinktank.
